Keep Striving, Fighting and Clawing but Never Give Up

Hello friends,

Welcome to another thought-provoking episode of my ideas and journey through life. Follow me closely and enjoy.
The topic of today is very important to me because I have experienced what it means to be pushed, shoved, overlooked, maybe forgotten and even stowed away. Furthermore, I have a little concept I’ll like to share with you about not giving up which I use on a daily basis. You might be asking, why shouldn’t I give up? My response to you is because there is something special about you that’s why there are challenges.

The concept of never give up from my knowledge and a bit of experience is easy to talk about when you have never experienced difficult and impossible situations. I pray that as you go through this, it will make sense and bring the right words that will give soothing relief to your particular situation. Each time I have the opportunity to speak with anyone, a particular song plays in my head and my heart
“Prayer for a friend” by Casting Crowns. This is very potent prayer in music that I think every counsellor, leader, mentor or friend should always pray before talking to anyone.

My friend, I have discovered that it is almost impossible to motivate yourself through difficult challenges but taking an example from Jesus will help you realign yourself and give you new hunger to have better. Looking unto Jesus as a perfect example is a personal conviction that can change your life. I had a chat with my boss in the office about this topic and he said it is your personal conviction that will motivate you to dust yourself off the floor and try again no matter what you just faced.

What is conviction?

It is your belief system that is bonded by assurance and confession. Based on this truth, your belief system as a Christian inspires your thoughts which will, in turn, drive you to make a certain confession that will always produce positive actions. Your conviction here is simply in the knowledge of God through His word.

Hebrews 12:2 KJV
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Always remember that God knows you so no matter what the situation now looks like, God has tour back.

Jeremiah 1:5 GNB
“I chose you before I gave you life, and before you were born I selected you to be a prophet to the nations.”

Think with me for a second, do you think God is not interested in you? or do you feel it’s impossible to have a better life especially after all that negativity that has happened or is still happening around you?
Hmm!

The honest truth is that you can form a mission statement based on your established convictions that can stand the test of time no matter what is happening around you.
Anything you may have been true, one thing that stands out is that it’s your decision to make on the outcome of your life. I don’t know what challenge you may be facing today. You may be grappling with a health issue, a financial need, or the enemy may be trying to destroy your family. Please remember that Jesus has already fought this battle for you. Now all you need to do is simply making the decision to win.
I urge you, my friend, Remain hungry in the quest for achievements of your dreams. You are not waste neither are you irrelevant so don’t use another person’s clock or life outcomes to rate yourself. God created you specially so don’t use other people to rate your self worth or value.

Personal Confession
I know who I am in Christ. I am a new creation. I am the righteousness of God. I am a joint heir with Jesus. I am more than a conqueror. I am a world overcomer and from this day forward I am a winner.
